The Regimental Association

The Association was formed on the 25th of June 1993 following the amalgamation of The 16th/5th The Queen's Royal Lancers and the 17th/21st Lancers. Membership is open to all those who are serving in the Queen's Royal Lancers or have served in: The 16th Lancers; The 17th Lancers; The 5th Lancers; The 21st Lancers; The Queen's Royal Lancers.

Home Headquarters (HHQ)

HHQ is the administrative center for the Association and is run by the Regimental Secretary, Lt Colonel

J G Adkins.

The Assistant Regimental Secretary is Capt (Retd) J M Holtby.

HHQ is located at Grantham and also contains the Gift Shop.

Association Annual Reunion Dinner 2008

The Association Dinner took place on Saturday 10th May and with a full capacity it was a very good evening. The Colonel of the Regiment took the opportunity to thank Bill Fryer for his outstanding contribution to the Association over many years and presented him with a Certificate and set of splendid silver QRL Cufflinks.

BEN CRUISE - LONDON MARATHON.

Ben successfully completed the marathon in a very credible time of just over four and a half hours. He has raised over £4000 for the Association which is outstanding. Sponsorships and Donations can still be made (and gratefully received) on line by logging onto www.justgiving.com/benedictcruise or you can send a cheque (made out to QRL Regimental Association) to Home Headquarters.

On line is an excellent means of making a donation as the Tax paid is automatically recovered for payment to the Association. On behalf of the Colonel of the Regiment and the Association a huge thank you to Ben for this initiative and very well done!

QRL CLUB.

Have you ever been stuck for ideas for a present for someone? Why not get them membership of the QRL Club? This costs £12 per year, per ticket, and a draw is made every month with cash prizes.
